The Black Bull Inn and Hotel is a 400 year old charming country inn nestled beside church beck with real fire ,oak beams and slate floors in areas. All rooms tastefully decorated, central heating ,television tea and coffee making facilities and all rooms ensuite.We serve good traditional food daily from 12 noon with our daily changing special board with vegetarian choices.We are a dog friendly hotel where dogs are very welcome in all areas except the main dining room, guest wanting your dog with you at breakfast can be served in the small dining room.

Leave m6 at junction 36,follow signs for Windermere, then Ambleside, then coniston, as you arrive in Coniston we are on main street on right hand side.If arriving by train arrive in Windermere and take bus to Coniston, best to check bus times as not always regular .
