Harry's LodgeLocated directly above the restaurant and wine bar where food is served until 10pm Harry's Lodge offers the perfect accommodation option for activity groups, reunions, hen and stag parties, corporate or team building trips to the Lake District. Cyclists and walkers are also welcome. Harry's lodge comprises of a spacious kitchen and lounge area which overlooks the centre of this charming village. There are two shower rooms with pressurised water to ensure there is always ample hot water. Two toilets, one double room and two rooms with adult size bunk beds, Towels are not provided but all bedding is provided.The Lodge can accommodate up to 12 people and breakfast is available in the restaurant upon request. Catering can be arranged for your group by prior arrangement. We have close links to Adventure 21, an outdoor pursuits and adventure activities provider for stag and hen parties, management training, corperate team building, families, individuals, youth and school groups and adult and junior birthday parties. Activities available include abseiling, aquaseiling open Canadian canoeing, canyoning, cycling, gorge scrambling, kayaking, mountain biking, sailing, river walking, ghyll scrambling, waterfall climbing, orienteering, navigation, hill walking, archery, rifle shooting, caving, pot holing, raft building, team building, low ropes course and Tyrolean. Leave the M6 at junction 36 and take the A591 for 25 miles, Passing through Windermere until you reach Ambleside, As you enter Ambleside at the first set of lights turn left, the lake should be on your left hand side, Continue for 0.25 miles and turn left onto the A593 signposted to Coniston. Continue on this road for 7 miles until you reach Coniston. We are situated opposite the Co-op and The Award winning Blackbull hotel.
